Plain English first. Read the short version. The full terms below are for when we need to get specific.

In plain English (the TL;DR)

• Ajeeb is a personal AI assistant on WhatsApp. It answers, remembers, and helps.
• You must be 18+ to use Ajeeb.
• Ajeeb is not a doctor, lawyer, accountant, or financial advisor. Don't use it for decisions with real consequences (medical, legal, financial) without a human professional.
• AI makes mistakes. Ajeeb will be wrong sometimes. Check important things.
• Don't misuse the service. No harassing others, no illegal content, no trying to break the system.
• You own your memory. Your personal data, your conversations, your personal sub-agents — they're yours.
• We can stop service for abuse. If you break these terms, we can suspend or delete your account.
• We can change these terms. We'll give you 14 days notice before major changes.

1. Who these terms apply to

By messaging Ajeeb Personal on WhatsApp, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. You can leave anytime by sending /delete_me.

Throughout these terms, "we", "us", "Ajeeb" mean Tryfecta, the operator of Ajeeb Personal. "You" means you, the user.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.
• You must have a working WhatsApp account.
• You must not be barred from using online services under Kuwait law or your local law.

We may ask for verification of age or identity if we reasonably suspect non-eligibility. If we cannot verify, we may close your account.

3. The service

3.1 What Ajeeb does

• Responds to your messages on WhatsApp using an AI language model
• Remembers information you share to make future responses more personal
• Allows you to create custom sub-agents (specialized AI personas) for your own use
• Optionally lets you publish sub-agents to the marketplace for others to install (opt-in)
• Is free to use in version 1 (pricing may be introduced later with notice)

3.2 What Ajeeb is NOT

• Not a medical professional. Do not use Ajeeb for diagnosis, treatment, or anything a real doctor should handle.
• Not a lawyer. Do not use Ajeeb for legal advice in any matter that affects your rights, obligations, or liabilities.
• Not a financial advisor. Do not use Ajeeb for investment decisions, tax filing, or banking instructions.
• Not an emergency service. If you are in danger or facing a medical emergency, call local emergency services (Kuwait: 112).
• Not a factual search engine. Ajeeb's answers may be out of date, incomplete, or wrong. Verify critical information.
• Not a commercial product-support channel for any third party. Ajeeb is a personal assistant only.

3.3 Availability

We operate Ajeeb on a best-effort basis. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Expect occasional downtime for maintenance, provider outages, or technical issues.

4. Your conduct

4.1 You agree NOT to

• Use Ajeeb to harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person
• Use Ajeeb to generate illegal content, including but not limited to: child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, material supporting terrorism, or material that violates Kuwait law
• Use Ajeeb to impersonate another person or entity in a way that deceives or harms
• Use Ajeeb to violate the privacy of others (sharing personal data of people without their consent, deepfaking, etc.)
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the underlying systems (no prompt injection for malicious purposes, no scraping, no DoS attempts)
• Share your WhatsApp account access with others to evade rate limits or abuse detection
• Use Ajeeb in any way that conflicts with these terms or applicable law

4.2 Reporting abuse

If you see content or behavior that violates these terms, email abuse@ajeeb.ai or send a message to Ajeeb starting with /report.

5. Custom agents and the marketplace

5.1 Private agents

You can create sub-agents for your personal use. These are private to you. You can name them, define their persona, and use them alongside the core Ajeeb.

You are responsible for what your private agents do and say in response to you. If you configure a private agent for a purpose that violates these terms, you still violate these terms.

5.2 Marketplace agents

If you choose to publish a sub-agent to the marketplace, it becomes visible to other users who can install it.

• Marketplace agents are subject to our content policies (see Section 4.1)
• We may review, flag, suspend, or remove marketplace agents at any time, for any reason
• Installing someone else's agent does not transfer ownership — the original creator retains authorship
• If you install another user's agent, you are using it at your own risk. We do not vouch for its quality or behavior.

5.3 Content in agents

By publishing an agent to the marketplace, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it through Ajeeb Personal. You retain ownership of the underlying idea and can withdraw an agent at any time.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 Your content

• Your messages, your memory, your private sub-agents — all yours.
• We do not claim any ownership of your personal data or private content.
• We process it only to provide the service (see Privacy Policy).

6.2 Our platform

• The Ajeeb name, logos, software, interface, and system prompts are our intellectual property.
• These terms do not grant you rights to use our trademarks or replicate the platform.
• The underlying language model (from OpenAI, used via our provider) is owned by them, not us.

6.3 Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback on Ajeeb, you give us the right to use that feedback to improve the service without owing you anything.

7. Disclaimers

• AS IS. Ajeeb is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law — fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, non-infringement.
• AI may be wrong. Ajeeb's outputs are generated by an AI model. They may be factually wrong, logically flawed, biased, or inappropriate. Always apply your own judgment.
• No professional advice. See Section 3.2.
• Third-party services. We rely on OpenAI (via our language model provider) and infrastructure vendors. We are not responsible for their outages or failures.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kuwait law:

• We are NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, business interruption, reputational harm, or emotional distress arising from your use of Ajeeb.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of Ajeeb is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Since Ajeeb is free in v1, that amount is zero.
• These limits apply even if we knew or should have known about the possibility of damages.
• Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability limits. Where that's the case, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

9. Termination

9.1 You can leave anytime

Send /delete_me on WhatsApp. Your account and data are deleted within 24 hours.

9.2 We can terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if: - You violate these terms - Your use poses a security risk to us or other users - We are required to do so by law or government order - We shut down Ajeeb Personal (see Section 9.3)

Where reasonable, we will notify you in advance via WhatsApp.

9.3 We can shut down the service

We may discontinue Ajeeb Personal at any time. If we do: - We will give at least 30 days notice via WhatsApp - You will have the opportunity to export your data before shutdown - No refunds are owed (service is free in v1)

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Legal compliance has been reviewed by Kuwait counsel for Tryfecta. For material changes:

1. We notify you on WhatsApp at least 14 days before effect
2. The "Last updated" date changes
3. We post the new version at https://ajeeb.ai/terms

Continued use after the effective date means acceptance. If you don't accept, /delete_me is always available.

11. Governing law and disputes

• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait.
• Any dispute will be resolved in Kuwait courts.
• Before filing a claim, please contact us at legal@ajeeb.ai — we will try to resolve in good faith.
• This does not limit your mandatory consumer protection rights in your home jurisdiction.

12. General

• Entire agreement. These terms plus the Privacy Policy are the complete agreement between us about Ajeeb Personal.
• Severability. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• No waiver. If we don't enforce a term once, we can still enforce it later.
• Assignment. You cannot transfer your account or these terms without our written permission. We can transfer our rights and obligations to a successor company (e.g., in an acquisition).
• No third-party beneficiaries. These terms are between you and us only.
